Spring term Programs:

Next programs programs will feature:

  • Woodlands – look at hedgerow mini beasts and plants, year in the life of a tree, diversity of life supported by a wood land habitat Bird/bat boxes
  • Horticulture – growing peppers and tomatoes commercially, seed to plant, plant to plate – include growing at home and simple recipes
  • Milking – cattle and goats. Keeping animals, life cycle, using milk in our food.
  • Computers in Agriculture – see how your food is produced using the latest technology

Wolds Heritage:

Farm Visit Project – would you like to take part?

The farm on which we have done much off our filming is now going to offer farm visits for schools and we will be working closely with them to provide a topic for the visiting schools to follow which will incorporate a visit to the farm and keep in touch with life of the farm via our regular videos

We are looking for schools to take part in this pilot project so if your school is in East Yorkshire or a reasonable radius of Market Weighton and would like to take part in this exciting new project please get in touch to discuss this further – contact details below
